THE HISTORY OF DEVELOPMENT
The School of Economics and Law was established under Decision No.31/QĐ-HĐT dated November 14, 2022 of the School Council of Tra Vinh University. School of Economics and law under Tra Vinh University on the basis of Faculty of Economics, Law and Faculty of State Management, Office Administration. School of Economics and law has the function of training the levels of higher education, scientific and technological activities, serving the community in the fields of economics, law, state management and other fields which relating to the functions and assigned tasks according to the organization and operation regulations of Tra Vinh University and the provisions of relevant laws.

SEL is a member school of TVU, providing learners with quality and specialized training programs in the fields of Economics, Administration and Law; bringing positive effects to the school, learners, community and stakeholders.
4. Educational philosophy
An educational philosophy is a system of values, principles, and goals that guide and shape the teaching and learning process.
In the educational philosophy of the School of Economics and Law, Tra Vinh University: Ethics - Action - Creativity are three important factors, each of which has its own meaning and role in the development process and form individuals associated with the professional fields.
Ethics: Ethics are good standards in human character, imbued with good traditions of people in general and Vietnamese people in particular. The school's educational activities are in the field of behavioral science, which are necessary and first of all aim at creating people with strong cultural values of the nation (ethics, love and responsibility).
Action: Action means learning (in learning there is practice, in practice there is learning, learning to do, doing to continue learning, so on throughout the life).The goal of learning is practice; school education turns into education in life, the educational process from school turns into the self-education process in life voluntarily and infinitely.
Creativity: Creativity is the ability to create new and useful things for practice from the knowledge that people have accumulated. Creativity is a way of using knowledge, applying knowledge to understand, manage and predict the changes taking place in society. Nowadays this is especially important when society is changing rapidly.
